One-sided (Right-tailed) Confidence Intervals

The one-sided (right-tailed) $ 100\cdot(1-\alpha)\%$ confidence interval is centered at $ \hat{p}$ and has its upper limit given by:

   upper limit$\displaystyle \;=\;\hat{p}+z_{\alpha}\cdot\sqrt{\frac{\hat{p}(1-\hat{p})}{n}}$   Cell G17

The interval is assumed to have no lower limit, or, equivalently, to have an lower limit of $ -\infty$ .
