Section 2.1 - Organizing Qualitative Data

In this assignment you will be asked to construct a spreadsheet with three sheets:

• sheet 1 should include your name, the assignment number, and a column with the numbers 9 through 22 sorted in random order.
• sheet 2 should contain the results of the problem corresponding to the first number of the randomized list on sheet 1 (i.e., a randomly selected number between 9 and 22)
• sheet 3 should contain the results of the problem corresponding to the second number of the randomized list

If you received a CDROM with your text, the data required for the problems should be on it.

If you purchased a used copy of the text and didn't get the CDROM, you can download the data at wps.prenhall.com/esm_sullivan_funstats_1. You may need an archive tool like pkzip to unpack the data file.
